WhatsApp Settings
Configure WhatsApp Business API settings and templates for your organization.
Manage your WhatsApp Business API connection and message templates from the WhatsApp Settings page.
Accessing WhatsApp Settings
- Go to Settings → Organization → WhatsApp.
- You'll see options to manage your WhatsApp connection and templates.
WhatsApp Connection
If you haven't connected WhatsApp yet:
- Click Connect WhatsApp or Add Channel.
- Follow the connection wizard to link your WhatsApp Business account.
- You'll need:
- A Meta Business account
- A WhatsApp Business account
- A payment method set up in Meta Business Suite

Managing WhatsApp Templates
WhatsApp requires approved message templates for certain types of messages. You can manage these templates from the WhatsApp settings page.
Viewing Templates
- See all your approved WhatsApp templates
- View template status (approved, pending, rejected)
- Check template usage and expiration dates
Creating Templates
- Click Create Template or New Template.
- Fill in the template details:
- Name: A unique identifier for your template
- Category: Choose from Marketing, Utility, or Authentication
- Language: Select the language for your template
- Content: Write your message content
- Variables: Add placeholders for dynamic content (e.g.,
{{1}})
- Submit for approval to Meta.
Note: Template approval can take 24-48 hours. You'll be notified when your template is approved or if changes are needed.

Troubleshooting
Template Rejected
If a template is rejected:
- Review the rejection reason from Meta
- Make necessary changes to comply with policies
- Resubmit the template for approval
Connection Issues
If you're having trouble connecting:
- Verify your Meta Business account has the necessary permissions
- Ensure your WhatsApp Business account is active
- Check that payment method is set up in Meta Business Suite
