Account Settings
Manage your personal profile, appearance, security, and notification preferences.
Account Settings control how your individual user account looks, behaves, and receives alerts.
Everything lives under Settings → Account in the left sidebar.
Profile
Path: Settings → Account → Profile
Manage your personal identity in Cloodot:
- Name:
- Update the display name teammates see.
- Click Save to apply changes.
- Profile Picture:
- Click your avatar to upload a new image.
- Select an image file (within the size limit) and confirm.
- Your new picture appears in the app header and everywhere your avatar shows.
Manage your password and sessions in the Security section.
Appearance
Path: Settings → Account → Appearance
Control how the interface looks for your account:
- Theme:
- Choose between:
- Light — Bright interface for well-lit environments.
- Dark — Dimmed interface that's easier on the eyes.
- System — Follows your operating system's theme.
- Click a theme card to apply it.
- Choose between:
- Cloodot saves your selection and applies it across all pages.
This setting is personal to you — it doesn't affect teammates.
Security
Path: Settings → Account → Security
Keep your account safe:
- Change Password:
- Enter your Current Password.
- Choose a New Password:
- At least 8 characters.
- Must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
- Confirm the new password by typing it again.
- Click Update Password to save.
- On success, Cloodot updates your password and may revoke other active sessions for safety.
- Active Sessions:
- See every session where your account is logged in (device, browser, last active).
- You can:
- Revoke an individual session to log that device out.
- Revoke other sessions to keep only your current device logged in.
Check this page periodically to keep your password strong and sign out from devices you no longer use.
Notifications
Path: Settings → Account → Notifications
Choose when and how you get notified:
- Notification types:
- Review the available notification events (new conversations, assignments, mentions, etc.).
- Notification triggers:
- For each event, pick which channels to use (email, in-app, or others).
- Use the checkboxes to turn channels on or off per event.
- Click Save to store your preferences.
These settings are specific to your account — every teammate sets their own.
