Account Settings
Manage your personal profile, appearance, security, and notification preferences.
Use Account Settings to control how your individual user account looks, behaves, and receives alerts.
All sections are under Settings → Account in the left sidebar.
Profile
Path: Settings → Account → Profile
The Profile page lets you manage your personal identity in Cloodot:
- Name:
- Update the display name that other teammates will see.
- Click Save to apply changes.
- Profile Picture:
- Click your avatar to upload a new image.
- Select an image file (within the size limit) and confirm.
- Once saved, your new picture appears in the app header and anywhere your avatar is shown.
Use this page to keep your name and photo up to date; password and sessions are managed in the Security section.
Appearance
Path: Settings → Account → Appearance
The Appearance page controls how the interface looks for your account:
- Theme Selection:
- Choose between:
- Light – Bright interface for well‑lit environments.
- Dark – Dimmed interface that’s easier on the eyes.
- System – Follows your operating system’s theme.
- Click on a theme card (with preview and icon) to apply it.
- Choose between:
- The selected theme is saved for your user and applied across all pages.
This setting is personal to you and does not affect other teammates.
Security
Path: Settings → Account → Security
The Security page helps you keep your account safe:
- Change Password:
- Enter your Current Password.
- Choose a New Password:
- At least 8 characters.
- Must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
- Confirm the new password by typing it again.
- Click Update Password to save.
- If successful, your password is updated and other active sessions may be revoked for safety.
- Active Sessions:
- See a list of sessions where your account is logged in (devices, browsers, last active).
- You can:
- Revoke an individual session to log that device out.
- Revoke other sessions to keep only your current device logged in.
Use this page regularly to keep your password strong and sign out from devices you no longer use.
Notifications
Path: Settings → Account → Notifications
The Notifications page lets you choose when and how you get notified:
- Notification Types:
- Review the different notification events available (for example: new conversations, assignments, mentions, etc.).
- This section gives you an overview of what you can be notified about.
- Notification Triggers:
- For each notification event, choose which channels should be used (for example: email, in‑app, or other supported channels).
- Use the checkboxes to turn channels on or off for each event.
- Click Save to store your preferences.
These settings are specific to your account, so each teammate can customize their own notification preferences.
