Copilot
Your AI assistant for running your workspace — ask questions in plain language and let Copilot get things done.
Copilot is your always-on AI assistant inside Cloodot. Instead of clicking through menus, tell Copilot what you want — ask about your conversations, pull up customer information, or get help with day-to-day workspace tasks.
Copilot is available to admins and owners only. If you don't see it in the sidebar, ask a workspace admin for access.
Opening Copilot
Click Copilot in the left sidebar (look for the sparkle icon). You'll land on a chat screen with the prompt "What do you want to do today?"
Asking Copilot something
Type your question into the message box at the bottom and hit Enter. Copilot understands natural language — no special syntax required.
A few examples to try:
- "Summarize the last 10 conversations about refunds."
- "How many WhatsApp messages are still waiting for a reply?"
- "Pull up the contact details for Sarah from yesterday's chat."
- "Create a segment of active WhatsApp leads from the last 7 days."
- "How well did our FAQ cover customer questions this month?"
What Copilot handles
Copilot pulls information from your workspace and makes changes for you. Here's what it handles well — shown as the questions you'd actually ask.
Get a read on your business

Extend Copilot with more tools
Everything above is built in. To give Copilot more to work with:
- Add Skill Sets for actions specific to your business — for example, "check order status" or "book a demo".
- Connect MCP Servers to bring in external systems like your CRM, billing, or internal APIs.
- Turn on one-click integrations in Copilot Settings for HubSpot, Shopify, or Zapier.
How Copilot works
When you send a message, Copilot picks the right tools, runs them, and writes a reply based on what it finds. It only sees data you already have permission to see — it isn't a workaround for access controls. Every action appears inline in the chat, so you can check its work.
Reading Copilot's response
- Your messages appear as dark bubbles on the right.
- Copilot's replies appear as lighter bubbles on the left, with rich formatting (lists, tables, links).
- Actions Copilot takes show inline. A progress indicator reads "Running actions (2/5)" while it works, and "5 actions completed" when done.
- Click any action to expand it and see the inputs Copilot used and the data it got back.
Clearing your conversation
Click the trash icon in the top-right of the Copilot page to clear chat history. This only clears your view — it doesn't affect your inbox, contacts, or workspace data.
Tips for good results
- Be specific. "Show me conversations from VIP customers not replied to in 24 hours" beats "show me conversations".
- Ask one thing at a time. Copilot handles complex requests, but smaller asks usually give cleaner answers.
- Follow up. If the first answer isn't right, keep the conversation going — Copilot remembers context within the same session.
- Review actions before trusting the output. Expand the action details to double-check what Copilot looked up, especially before making decisions on the answer.
