What’s new in Cloodot

Every release, newest first. Features, improvements, and fixes as they ship across the inbox, workflows, AI, and channels.

  1. v0.4.2

Richer social shares and steadier AI replies

    InboxAIWorkflows

Facebook and Instagram shares arrive as rich cards, persona goals get a rich-text editor, and AI replies stay on-message through long conversations.

    Inbox

    • Facebook reels and Instagram story mentions and shares now appear as rich cards right in the conversation, so you can see what a customer sent at a glance.
    • Shared Instagram reels show a click-to-expand preview instead of a bare link.

    AI personas

    • A persona's Goal is now a rich-text editor, just like Description, so you can format and structure it the same way.
    • The AI now holds to each persona's goal, tone, and reply length consistently, even across long back-and-forth conversations.

    Workflows

    • The API Request node now supports variables and returns a clearer, more predictable result.

    Security

    • Routine security hardening across the platform.
  2. v0.4.1

Smarter AI tagging and a snappier inbox

    AIPerformanceWorkflows

AI extraction now reads images and audio, personas respond faster, and table pages load before you click.

    AI extraction

    • Label and custom-field extraction now reads image and audio attachments, not just text, so more conversations get tagged automatically.
    • Automatic tagging no longer overwrites good values with blanks, so existing labels and fields stay intact.
    • The right assistant is matched to each conversation faster and more reliably.
    • Handing a conversation over to AI updates the view instantly.

    Speed

    • The next page of any table is ready the moment you click.

    Workflows

    • The Browser node's Run quick action now covers both markdown extraction and crawling.
    • Small polish to node headers and badges for a tidier canvas.
  3. v0.4.0

A calmer workflow canvas and a faster inbox

    HighlightWorkflowsPerformanceWhatsAppSecurity

A reworked workflow builder, faster inbox and insights, and tighter control over roles and plan limits.

    Workflows

    • The canvas is calmer to work in. Node colors are muted and the add-node button has moved out of the way of your content.
    • Reconnect an edge by dragging its end to a new node. Live validation shows whether a connection is allowed while you draw it.
    • Alignment guides snap nodes into place as you arrange them, so layouts stay tidy.
    • Workflows are validated when you activate them, so configuration problems surface before a run rather than during one.

    Speed

    • Inbox conversation counts and campaign click reports load noticeably faster.
    • Contact, conversation, and label lookups are quicker across the inbox and analytics.
    • Replies to messages with images or audio are more reliable.

    Roles and plans

    • Members without admin access now see only their own account settings: profile, appearance, security, and notifications.
    • WhatsApp Templates open directly for non-admins.
    • Label, canned response, and custom field limits are enforced per plan, and onboarding defaults fit within your plan from the start.

    WhatsApp

    • Register a two-step verification PIN for a WhatsApp channel directly from the channels table.

    Security

    • Routine security hardening across the platform. As always, we keep the details light and ship fixes quietly.
  4. WhatsApp catalogues and a smoother inbox

    WhatsAppWorkflowsInboxAI

Sell from WhatsApp catalogues, import knowledge from a sitemap, review workflow run history, and scroll long conversations without lag.

    WhatsApp

    • Catalogues: Manage products end to end, with bulk actions and CSV import that maps your columns to the right fields.
    • Your agent understands catalogue and order messages, so it answers product questions accurately.

    Knowledge base

    • Sitemap import: Point Cloodot at a sitemap, choose the pages you want, and watch which ones import successfully.

    Workflows

    • Run history: Review past executions and test a workflow straight from the editor.

    Inbox

    • Long conversation histories scroll smoothly, however many messages they hold.
    • Download attachments straight from the message menu.

    AI

    • AI replies come back noticeably faster.
    • Copilot tool calls show inline, with hovercards and a detail drawer.
  5. Fetch and AI extraction in workflows, Copilot in the composer

    WorkflowsCopilotInboxContacts

Call external APIs from a workflow, pull structured data out of freeform content, and draft replies with Copilot right inside the message box.

    Workflows

    • Fetch node: Make an external HTTP request as a step in any workflow.
    • AI extraction: Turn freeform content into structured fields you can act on.
    • Reliable triggers: Long-running processes resume reliably instead of dropping partway through.
    • The action sidebar is redesigned with search, sorting, and categories.

    Copilot

    • A dedicated Copilot page with clearer navigation.
    • Draft replies with Copilot directly in the message input.
    • AI persona filters route conversations in the inbox automatically.

    Inbox

    • Infinite scrolling and instant-feeling updates make the inbox snappier than ever.

    Contacts

    • CSV import with deduplication and support for multi-line fields.
  6. A faster foundation and a visual workflow builder

    HighlightPlatformWorkflowsBilling

Cloodot moves to a faster foundation for quicker loads, and workflows move to a drag-and-drop canvas.

    Platform

    • The app runs on a rebuilt foundation. Pages and conversations load faster, navigation is quicker, and the app recovers from errors more gracefully.
    • Performance on phones and tablets is noticeably better.

    Workflows

    • Drag-and-drop builder: Drag trigger events onto the canvas instead of filling in forms.
    • Search your actions, set business hours in one click, and trigger on labels being added or removed.

    Billing

    • Plans and usage are clearer, so you always know where you stand.
  7. Teams, Cal.com scheduling, and webchat notifications

    TeamsIntegrationsWebchatContacts

Organize people into teams with roles, book meetings through Cal.com, and keep webchat visitors in the loop when the widget is closed.

    Teams

    • Create teams, assign members, and set role-based permissions.
    • Select an active team within an organization to keep collaboration focused.

    Integrations

    • Cal.com: Connect your Cal.com account and manage scheduling from a dedicated card.

    Webchat

    • An unread badge appears when the widget is minimized, with toast and browser notifications for new messages.

    Contacts

    • Block or unblock a contact across every channel, with a reason recorded.
