  • This timezone is used to interpret opening and closing times.
  • Select your timezone from the dropdown menu.

Configuring Per-Day Schedule

For each weekday, set:

  • Open / Closed toggle:
    • Toggle on to set specific hours for that day.
    • Toggle off to mark that day as closed.
  • Opening time (e.g. 09:30):
    • Select the time your team starts working.
    • Use the time picker to set hours and minutes.
  • Closing time (e.g. 18:00):
    • Select the time your team stops working.
    • Use the time picker to set hours and minutes.

Saving Changes

After adjusting times or timezone:

  1. Review your schedule to ensure all days are configured correctly.
  2. Click Save Changes.
  3. Updated hours are used by the system and AI to understand when your team is online.

How Business Hours Are Used

  • AI Agent: The AI understands when your team is available and can inform customers about response times.
  • Automations: Business hours can be used to trigger automated responses or set expectations.
  • Analytics: Response time metrics may be calculated based on business hours.

Best Practices

  • Be Accurate: Set realistic hours that match when your team actually responds to customers.
  • Consider Time Zones: If you serve customers in multiple time zones, consider their local times when setting expectations.
  • Update Regularly: Keep business hours updated for holidays, special events, or schedule changes.
