Business Hours

Configure when your team is available to respond to customers.

Business Hours defines when your team is available to respond.

Open the Business Hours page

Go to Settings → Organization → Business Hours to configure your timezone and weekly schedule.

Set the timezone

Pick the primary timezone for your business (e.g. "Asia Dubai", "Europe London", "America New York"). Opening and closing times are interpreted in this timezone. Select it from the dropdown.

Configure the weekly schedule

For each weekday, set:

  • Open / Closed toggle:
    • On — set specific hours for the day.
    • Off — mark the day as closed.
  • Opening time (e.g. 09:30) — when your team starts. Use the time picker.
  • Closing time (e.g. 18:00) — when your team stops. Use the time picker.

Save your changes

  1. Review each day's schedule.
  2. Click Save Changes.

Cloodot and the AI agent now use these hours to know when your team is online.

Where business hours are used

  • AI agent — knows when your team is available and can set customer expectations on response times.
  • Automations — trigger automated responses or messaging based on hours.
  • Analytics — response-time metrics can be calculated against business hours.

Set accurate hours

  • Match reality — set the hours your team actually responds.
  • Consider time zones — if you serve customers across regions, factor their local times in.
  • Update regularly — adjust for holidays, special events, or schedule changes.
