Learn how to connect your Facebook Pages to Cloodot and manage Messenger conversations.
Connect your Facebook Pages to manage Messenger conversations directly from Cloodot. You can connect up to 5 Facebook Pages at once, and each page will appear as a separate channel.
Prerequisites
Before connecting Facebook, ensure you have:
- ✅ A Facebook Business account
- ✅ At least one Facebook Page
- ✅ Admin access to the Facebook Pages you want to connect
- ✅ The Pages must have messaging enabled
:::info You can connect multiple Facebook Pages, but each connection process allows up to 5 pages at once. You can add more pages later. :::
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
Step 1: Start Facebook Connection
You can start the Facebook connection in two ways:
Option A: From Inbox (When No Channels Connected)
- Navigate to your Cloodot dashboard
- Go to the Inbox or Conversations section
- You'll see "No channels connected" message
- Click the "Connect Facebook" button (blue icon)
- The Channel Connection Wizard will open
Option B: From Settings
- Navigate to Settings → Organization → Channels
- Click "Add Channel" or the "+" button
- In the Channel Connection Wizard, select "Facebook"
You'll see an overview of what Facebook integration offers.
Step 2: Authorize Your Facebook Account
- Click the "Authorize Facebook" button
- You'll be redirected to Facebook's authorization page
- Sign in with your Facebook account
- Review and grant the requested permissions:
- Manage your Pages
- Read Page messages
- Send messages as your Page
:::warning Make sure you're signing in with a Facebook account that has admin access to the Pages you want to connect. :::
Step 3: Select Facebook Pages
After authorization, you'll see a list of your Facebook Pages.
Selecting Pages
- Review available pages: You'll see all Facebook Pages you have admin access to
- Select up to 5 pages:
- Check the boxes next to the pages you want to connect
- You'll see a counter showing how many pages you've selected (e.g., "2 of 5 pages selected")
- Pages that are already connected will be hidden from the list
- Already connected pages: If you see a message about already connected pages, those pages are already integrated and won't appear in the list
:::tip You can connect more pages later by repeating the connection process. Each page becomes a separate channel for better organization. :::
Step 4: Connect Selected Pages
- Click "Connect X page(s)" (where X is the number of pages you selected)
- The system will connect each selected page as a separate channel
- You'll see a loading indicator while the connection is in progress
Step 5: Complete Connection
- A success message will confirm your Facebook pages are connected
- Each connected page will appear as a separate channel in your channels list
- You can now receive and respond to Facebook messages through Cloodot

Managing Facebook Channels
View Facebook Conversations
All Facebook Messenger conversations will appear in your unified inbox. You can:
- Filter by channel to see messages from specific pages
- Search through Facebook conversation history
- View customer profiles and conversation context
- See which page each conversation is from
Multiple Facebook Pages
If you connect multiple Facebook Pages:
- Each page appears as a separate channel
- You can filter conversations by page
- Team members can be assigned to specific pages
- Analytics are tracked per page
Disconnect Facebook Pages
If you need to disconnect a Facebook Page:
- Go to Channel Settings
- Find the Facebook Page channel you want to disconnect
- Click "Disconnect"
- Confirm the disconnection
:::warning Disconnecting will stop receiving new Facebook messages in Cloodot, and your conversation history will be deleted. :::
Reconnect Facebook Pages
You can reconnect Facebook Pages at any time by following the connection steps again.
Important Notes
Connection Limits
- Maximum 5 pages per connection: You can connect up to 5 Facebook Pages in a single connection process
- No total limit: You can connect as many pages as you need by repeating the process
- Already connected pages: Pages already connected to this or another workspace cannot be connected again
Page Requirements
- Pages must have messaging enabled
- You must have admin access to connect a page
- Pages must be active (not unpublished or deleted)
Troubleshooting
"No Facebook pages found"
Problem: You don't see any Facebook Pages during the connection process.
Solutions:
- Create a Facebook Page first if you don't have one
- Ensure you have admin access to the Pages
- Verify that messaging is enabled on your Pages
- Make sure you're using the correct Facebook account
"Facebook page already connected"
Problem: You see an error that a page is already connected.
Solutions:
- The page is already connected to this or another workspace
- You cannot connect the same page twice
- Disconnect it from the other workspace first if needed
- Or connect a different page
"All Facebook pages are already connected"
Problem: All your Facebook Pages are already connected.
Solution:
- You've already connected all available pages
- If you need to connect different pages, create new Facebook Pages
- Or disconnect existing pages and reconnect different ones
"Authorization failed"
Problem: The authorization process fails.
Solutions:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try using a different browser
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Make sure pop-up blockers aren't preventing the authorization window
- Verify you have admin access to the Pages
Messages Not Appearing
Problem: Facebook messages aren't showing up in Cloodot.
Solutions:
- Wait a few minutes for messages to sync
- Check that your Facebook Pages are still connected
- Verify that messaging is enabled on your Pages
- Refresh your Cloodot dashboard
- Check that the Page hasn't been unpublished
