Contacts Overview
Understand how to view, manage, and organize all your contacts in Cloodot.
Contacts is where all the people who interacted with you through any connected channel are stored and managed.
Use this section to search, filter, segment, and update contact information, and to track leads across your pipeline.
Accessing Contacts
- From the left sidebar, click Contacts.
- Choose one of the three views:
- All – Table view of every contact in your workspace
- Leads – Kanban-style board grouped by segments
- Segments – List and manage your saved segments
When to Use Each View
- All Contacts: Day‑to‑day contact list management, bulk clean‑up, CSV export, and inline editing of fields.
- Leads: Visual pipeline view to monitor active leads by segment, see last interaction, and focus follow‑ups.
- Segments: Create and manage dynamic groups of contacts based on filters (e.g. labels, custom fields, activity).
Key Concepts
- Contact: A person who has interacted with you via Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, WebChat, or has been imported.
- Segment: A saved set of rules (filters) that groups contacts automatically (for example: “High‑value customers”, “Recent WhatsApp leads”).
- Custom Fields: Extra fields you define (for contacts or conversations) such as plan type, city, or source.
