Leads Board

Track and manage leads across segments using a Kanban-style board.

The Leads view turns your segments into a Kanban‑style board so you can visually track contacts as leads across different segments.

Accessing Leads

  1. Go to Contacts in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Leads.

You’ll see a horizontal board with columns. Each column shows contacts that belong to a selected segment.

How the Leads Board Works

  • Each column is linked to a segment.
  • Each card represents a single contact.
  • The board can:
    • Auto‑refresh in Live mode.
    • Display key details such as email, phone, labels, last interaction, and custom fields.
    • Play a subtle chime in live mode when new leads appear (based on recent activity).

Setting Up Columns

  • By default, the board starts with at least one empty column.
  • For each column:
    • Click the segment selector in the column header.
    • Choose a segment (for example: “New Leads”, “Warm Leads”, “Hot Leads”).
    • The column will load contacts that match that segment.
  • You can:
    • Add up to a limited number of columns (e.g. 5).
    • Remove a column (if more than one exists) using the X button on the header.
    • See the total count of leads in that column as a small badge.

Live Mode

  • Use the Live toggle at the top of the page:
    • When on, each column auto‑refreshes periodically and may play a short sound when new matching leads appear.
    • When off, the board stays static until you refresh or change filters.

Lead Cards (Contact Preview)

Each card shows a compact view of a contact:

  • Avatar & Name:
    • Displays the contact name and avatar (from the most recent conversation profile, when available).
  • Last Interaction (optional):
    • Shows relative time since the last message.
    • Hover to see the exact timestamp.
  • Email & Phone (configurable):
    • Show/hide depending on your display settings.
  • Labels:
    • Colored dots summarizing labels applied through conversation sessions.
  • Custom Fields (optional):
    • Up to a couple of key custom/contact or conversation fields for quick context.

Clicking a card opens the Contact Details drawer so you can see full details and take action.

Customizing What You See

Use the Display Options menu in the header:

  • Turn on/off:
    • Show Email
    • Show Phone
    • Show Custom Fields
    • Show Last Interaction
    • Show Labels

These settings are remembered per user so your board stays the way you like it.

Reordering Columns

You can drag and drop columns to rearrange your pipeline:

  • Grab the drag handle (icon) in the column header.
  • Drag the column left or right to a new position.
  • Release to drop it in place – the new order is saved for you.

Adding More Columns

  • Use the Add Column / Add Segment button or placeholder card at the end of the board.
  • A new empty column will appear where you can choose another segment.
  • This is useful for building a simple pipeline such as:
    • Column 1: New Leads
    • Column 2: Contacted
    • Column 3: Qualified
    • Column 4: Won

Viewing Contact Details

  • Click any lead card to open the Contact Details drawer.
  • From there you can:
    • See full profile information and recent conversations.
    • Review labels and custom fields.
    • Navigate to the related session (if one exists).
