Notification Triggers
Configure what triggers notifications and when they're sent.
Notification Triggers control when and how notifications are sent based on specific events and conditions.
Trigger Types
Immediate Triggers
Notifications sent as soon as events occur:
- New Message: When a new message arrives
- Mention: When you're mentioned
- Assignment: When a conversation is assigned to you
- Urgent: For urgent or high-priority events
Digest Triggers
Notifications grouped and sent at intervals:
- Daily Digest: Summary of all notifications sent once per day
- Weekly Digest: Summary sent once per week
- Hourly Digest: Summary sent every hour (if available)
Conditional Triggers
Notifications based on specific conditions:
- Business Hours: Only during configured business hours
- After Hours: Only outside business hours
- Priority Level: Based on conversation or message priority
- Channel Type: Specific to certain channels (e.g., WhatsApp only)
Configuring Triggers
- Go to Settings → Notifications.
- Find the Notification Triggers section.
- Configure trigger settings:
- Immediate vs Digest: Choose when notifications are sent
- Conditions: Set specific conditions for triggers
- Quiet Hours: Set times when notifications are paused
- Click Save to apply changes.
Quiet Hours
Set times when notifications are paused:
- Enable Quiet Hours.
- Set your Start Time (e.g., 10:00 PM).
- Set your End Time (e.g., 8:00 AM).
- Choose which days to apply quiet hours.
During quiet hours:
- Notifications are paused
- You won't receive immediate notifications
- Digest notifications may still be sent at scheduled times
Best Practices
- Set Appropriate Triggers: Configure triggers that match your workflow
- Use Quiet Hours: Set quiet hours to avoid interruptions during rest
- Balance Immediate and Digest: Use immediate for urgent items, digest for less critical
- Review and Adjust: Periodically review trigger settings and adjust as needed
